Alexandros is now scheduled for surgery - Hellenic Heart For Kids makes its first payment

After our fundraising efforts over the past two months, we can happily report back that, at the parent’s request, we have closed our fundraising efforts for Alexandros, and have issued a check for $27,800 on his behalf to the St. Louis Children’s Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. (The remainder of the funds needed for the surgery as well as ancillary travel/room and boarding expenses were raised through the independent efforts of the parents.)

Alexandros is scheduled for his SDR surgery on September 22nd of this year, and will be staying in St. Louis for another four weeks for post-operative care/therapy services.
