Tavli Tournament held today

Thank you to everyone who attended our Tavli tournament today.

A special thanks to Syllogos Kreton Minos of New York for donating their space, staff and food (as well as most of the Tavli boards) for our event, to GreekGiftShop.com for donating special Tavli sets (pictures below) which served as prizes, and to The Thirsty Koala for donating a gift basket of bottles of liquor (Tanqueray gin, Tito’s vodka, and Casamigos tequila).

The winners of the tournament are as follows:

3rd Place winner is Dr. Nick Tyris (winner of a Tavli set)

2nd place winner is Georgia Fiotodimitrakis (winner of a Tavli set and a $50 gift certificate to The Thirsty Koala)

1st place winner is Giorgios Plaitis, winner of a gift basket of liquor.

We managed to raise over $1700 at our event - we are all floored by your immense generosity.
